Cardozo's 18th Annual Public Service Auction Awards Students Working in Public Sector Cardozo's 18th Annual Public Service Auction will take place on Thursday, March 11. All proceeds will go to fund summer stipends for students working in the public sector this summer. In addition, beginning on Tuesday, March 2, you will have the opportunity to bid online for hundreds of auction items. Don't miss out. The Cardozo Public Service Auction is a student-driven effort and provides an opportunity for students to receive summer stipends for otherwise uncompensated internships in the public sector. A record number of students have applied for the 2010 Summer Stipend Program. This year's goal is to raise $400,000, the most ambitious ever. Your help is needed to meet this great demand so more students than ever can be awarded stipends to provide legal services to the underserved.
