Cardozo to Host Debate Among New York State Attorney General Candidates Jul 13, 2010 -- Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law will host a debate among the New York State Attorney General candidates the evening of Tuesday, July 20. Hon. Richard Brodsky, Sean Coffey, Eric Dinallo, Kathleen Rice, and Hon. Eric Schneiderman are all expected to participate in the forum to be moderated by New York political journalist Elizabeth Benjamin. “The 2010 election for Attorney General is a wide open race with a strong field of candidates ready to tell the public how they each view the role of the Attorney General, and how they each will serve if elected,” said Matthew Diller, dean of Cardozo. “All of us at Cardozo Law are excited for the forum and look forward to hearing what the candidates have to say.” The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the New York Democratic Lawyers Council and will take place in Cardozo Law’s Jacob Burns Moot Court Room from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. The American Constitution Society, National Democratic Law Students Council and New York State Democratic Law Students are also co-sponsoring the forum.
